Malarhorn Accommodations - Drangsnes

Fine fjord and island views from the accommodations.

The rooms were cramped and lacked sound insulation. I could hear every noise from neighboring guests, hard to sleep. Adding to my frustration, the dining hours felt restrictive, leaving us scrambling for meal options after a long day exploring.

Staff were pleasant and accommodating at any hour!!

Tbh, had a comfortable stay for one night. Everything was good, fairly clean hotel, favourable location on the seafront. Location: the venue was adjacent to mountains and the nearest other restaurant or shop and the restaurant which is a different building from the ones where are the rooms. Again, the hotel was within easy walking distance of Drangsnes Sundlaug.

Truly enjoyed its really good and pleasant staff.

The hotel was in a fantastic location, to Grimsey island. Moreover, it's adjacent to the seafront, the restaurant for dinner and both Iceland and Poland.

The breakfast featured an excellent variety of homemade delights, including tasty granola and pastries reminiscent of churros, all while overlooking the fine fjord.

Check-in was somewhat confusing as we initially struggled to locate the reception desk, hidden within the restaurant area.

Breakfast was exceptionally good, we didn't feel like leaving!

It was in a remote location, by the ocean.

We had the twin/double room which was neat and functional with a protected balcony. Drangsnes Sundlaug was walking distance from the hotel, really enjoyed its location next to the fjord.

Wooden chalets provide comfort and warmth with an appealing atmosphere. Views from the room are enchanting, overlooking a nearby fjord.

The shared hot tubs serve all village guests, limiting privacy after a long day. Dinner hours are shorter than expected, with just a two-hour window, and breakfast hours aren't very convenient either, only from 8 to 9.

Twin/double room was new-fashioned and functional. Exceptionally comfortable bed and pillows, there were a kitchen area and a sofa available. The hotel's position was stunning and good, also right on ocean...

The spacious double room wassuper clean and cozy, with beautiful views overlooking the fjord. Breakfast was a highlight, with delicious homemade pastries and a variety of local options. The cozy atmosphere.

Limited parking can be a hassle.

the bathroom was a bit small. but the cozy twin room was warm and inviting. loved the access to the shared kitchen. and the stunning views of the water made it even better.

The room was warm and inviting. I particularly enjoyed the fine view of the sea from the dining room. The cleanliness throughout the accommodations was commendable, which contributed to a pleasant stay.

great base for exploring drangsnes and nearby attractions

despite a cold and cloudy day upon arrival, this cozy place offered a warm room with fine views, making it a perfect base for exploring local sights, including Grimsey Island just a short stroll away and the lovely park nearby the heart of Drangsnes.

Fine fjord views

The location offers amazing views right on the water, perfect for whale watching from our terrace. The cozy shared kitchen was a wonderful spot to prepare meals with friends, and we appreciated the charming community feel among guests.

Great breakfast options, cozy kitchen for cooking. No parking near the restaurant.
